Pedestrian seriously hurt after being struck by Ford Ranger…

Car Crash Riverhead New York in Riverhead, New York: A 70-year-old pedestrian was seriously hurt after being struck by a 2021 Ford Ranger while trying to cross County Road 58, east of Ostrander Avenue, in Riverhead, Suffolk County, late Wednesday night around 10 p.m. The Riverhead Police Department responded and found the male victim lying in the roadway near the BJ's Gas Station with a head wound. He was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital via Riverhead Volunteer Ambulance for treatment of serious, life-threatening injuries. The driver stayed at the scene and no charges had been filed at the time of reporting.
