Pedestrian Hit Hazel Park Michigan in Hazel Park, Michigan: A 30-year-old Eastpointe woman was struck and killed by a Ford Fusion while crossing 8 Mile Road in Hazel Park. The driver, a 27-year-old Center Line man, was traveling westbound in the far-left lane and had a green light when the woman crossed against the red light in the crosswalk at John R Road. Police responded around 10:50 p.m. and found the woman dead in the median. The driver cooperated with police and stopped to check on the victim before calling 911. The Oakland County Sheriff's Office assisted in the crash investigation.
