Pedestrian Hit Anaheim California in Anaheim, California: A pedestrian died after being struck by a blue Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck on the eastbound SR-91 Freeway, just east of Imperial Highway, in the early morning hours of Thursday, July 2, 2026. The force of the impact launched the pedestrian into the FasTrak lanes, where medics later pronounced them deceased. The driver of the Chevrolet, the sole occupant, was uninjured, was not believed to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol, and was cooperating with law enforcement. All eastbound lanes of the SR-91 were closed for about an hour while authorities investigated the fatal collision.
