Car Crash Creston Iowa in Creston, Iowa: One person was hospitalized after a car-versus-tractor accident near Creston late Wednesday morning. The Creston Fire Department reported that shortly before noon, dispatch notified them of an accident involving a tractor and a car on U.S. Highway 34 at the Skyline Bridge, roughly a mile-and-a-half east of Creston. Arriving crews found a Ford Escape on its side with the driver trapped inside; firefighters extricated the driver by removing the windshield and cutting the pillars and roof. The driver was taken by ambulance to the hospital, while the tractor driver was not injured.
