Car Crash Augusta Virginia in Augusta, Virginia: A head-on crash occurred around 4:45 p.m. Wednesday on the 2800 block of Parkersburg Turnpike in Augusta County, Virginia. A Dodge Ram 2500 heading west crossed the center line and struck an eastbound U.S. Postal Service box truck. The box truck ran off the right side of the road and hit several trees, while the Dodge ran off the left side and hit a tree. The driver of the Dodge, 29-year-old Sean Arnott of Craigsville, was extricated and pronounced dead at Augusta Health. The 79-year-old Waynesboro driver of the box truck was also taken to Augusta Health with non-life-threatening injuries. The crash remains under investigation by Virginia State Police.
