Car Crash Butler Missouri in Butler, Missouri: A Pacific Aerospace Limited 750XL skydiving plane crashed nose-down into a grassy field about 445 feet west of the southern end of the planned landing zone at Butler Memorial Airport in Butler, Missouri, killing 12 people. Security footage showed the plane take off from the mid-field of the runway and begin a gradual left turn that continued until both wings were approximately perpendicular to the ground. A post-crash fire significantly burned all major components of the plane. The NTSB preliminary report found no indications of preimpact mechanical malfunctions or failures and said the plane met weight and balance requirements.
