Officers responded about 1:15 p.m. and received additional reports of a second assault on a nearby street before locating and arresting a suspect matching the description. Two of the women were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and the suspect was taken to a hospital for a narcotics-related medical evaluation before being placed in custody. Criminal charges were pending.
