Massachusetts truck driver charged with vehicular homicide…

Car Crash Schuylkill Pennsylvania in Schuylkill, Pennsylvania: A Massachusetts man faces felony vehicular homicide charges after his tractor-trailer veered off Interstate 81 on Wednesday morning, killing a 20-year veteran Pennsylvania State Trooper during a routine traffic stop. The tractor-trailer struck the side mirror of the trooper's parked patrol pickup, plowed into the rear of a stopped tractor-trailer being inspected, and struck the trooper, pinning him beneath the bumper before bursting into flames. The trooper was pronounced dead later that morning at Lehigh Valley Hospital–Schuylkill in Pottsville. The driver was also transported to the hospital for undisclosed injuries and was arraigned on multiple charges and held on $700,000 bail.
