Car Crash Cass Township Pennsylvania in Cass Township, Pennsylvania: A Massachusetts man was charged with homicide by vehicle and related offenses after a tractor trailer crash on I-81 in Cass Township, Schuylkill County, killed Pennsylvania State Trooper Michael Pahira around 7 a.m. on Wednesday. Trooper Pahira, 44, was inspecting a tractor trailer when another tractor trailer left the road, struck his truck and him, and continued with him under the truck for a distance before both trucks caught fire. The driver of the struck tractor trailer was taken to the hospital; the driver of the other tractor trailer was not injured. Michael Bon, 33, of Brockton, Massachusetts, faces multiple charges and a preliminary hearing scheduled for July 16.
