Man charged with felony stabbing at CARES Campus in Reno
Assault Reno Nevada in Reno, Nevada: A 33-year-old man stabbed a person outside the Nevada Cares Campus Resource Center in Reno on Tuesday around 1 p.m. The Washoe County Sheriff's Office says Jaivon Simmons initially threatened a staff member with a knife before allegedly stabbing a victim outside the entrance. The victim was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries. Simmons was booked into the Washoe County Jail on felony charges of Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Battery with a Deadly Weapon.
