Assault Northeast Bexar Texas in northeast Bexar, Texas: Jorge Medina Ibarra, 43, is accused of intentionally setting fire to his own shared residence on the 6400 block of Manda Drive in northeast Bexar County before approaching a nearby home, according to the Bexar County Sheriff's Office. Witnesses said Ibarra used a blowtorch to try to burn through a window of the second home, then chased a resident back inside, threatened to kill the resident and their family, and threw a cinder block through a child's bedroom window. Ibarra allegedly slashed a resident with a knife on the back of their left arm and forcibly slammed a woman's head into the ground, causing visible lacerations. Deputies took Ibarra into custody; the stabbing victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment, and the other victims were evaluated and are expected to recover. Ibarra was booked into the Bexar County Adult Detention Center on a combined $268,000 bond on seven charges.
