Florida woman killed in alligator attack while swimming in…
Drowning Florida Today in Florida: Brittany Clark, a 31-year-old Florida woman, was attacked and killed by an alligator while swimming in Central Florida. Her boyfriend, Chance Allison, was on the phone with 911 while trying to pull her from the alligator's grip. Clark died on the way to the hospital. The Seminole County Sheriff's Office released body camera video from responding deputies, and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission captured and killed two large alligators — measuring 12.5 feet and 13 feet — from the area, sending DNA samples to a lab to determine which gator attacked her. The Florida Forest Service noted there are no designated swimming areas at the Little Big Econ State Forest and that signage warned of potential alligator activity.
