Premises St Petersburg Florida in St Petersburg, Florida: Paul Mason Stottler, 39, was arrested on June 26 and charged with second-degree murder in the death of Emma Mullins, 76, at a Holiday Inn Express in St. Petersburg, Florida. Police responded to the hotel at approximately 11:35 a.m. ET on June 25 after an employee reported finding a deceased person in one of the rooms. Mullins was found on the floor wrapped in a blanket with sheets, towels and clothes covering her, and was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators found bloodstains, overturned furniture, broken glass, and signs of trauma on her body, and surveillance footage showed Stottler and Mullins entering the room together before Stottler later exited carrying bags.
