Car Crash Curry Oregon in Curry, Oregon: Oregon State Police are investigating a fatal head-on collision on U.S. Highway 101 near milepost 312 in Curry County on the south Oregon coast between Gold Beach and Port Orford. A northbound Chrysler Pacifica drifted into the oncoming lane and struck a converted school bus motorhome around 8:20 a.m. Friday. The operator of the Chrysler, identified as Dizon, was declared deceased at the scene after reportedly falling asleep at the wheel. An 18-year-old passenger, Maryanne Drake of Auburn, Washington, was hospitalized with serious injuries, two other adult passengers had minor injuries, and a fourth passenger was unhurt. A separate crash in Eddyville in Lincoln County left a 13-year-old seriously injured after a motorcycle collided with an Oregon State Police Fish and Wildlife patrol vehicle on Nashville Road.
