Car Crash Clearfield Pennsylvania in Clearfield, Pennsylvania: Pennsylvania State Police say Gerardus O. Dunkel, 34, of Vevay, Indiana, was driving a 2005 Toyota Matrix eastbound on Interstate 80 near mile marker 102.0 in Clearfield County when he reportedly fell asleep at the wheel. The vehicle veered off the right shoulder, struck a traffic sign, and came to rest on its wheels facing south just off the right lane. Dunkel was wearing his seat belt and was not injured. Troopers cited him for failing to drive on roadways laned for traffic.
