Police Pursuit Crash Crystal Minnesota in Crystal, Minnesota: On July 1, 2026, Crystal police officers attempted to stop a vehicle suspected of involvement in a burglary and weapons-related offense in another jurisdiction. The driver fled and officers pursued the vehicle; during the pursuit a flamethrower was reportedly tossed from the window toward officers. Officers disabled the vehicle and took multiple occupants into custody on outstanding warrants and other charges, recovering a firearm, a trench knife, fentanyl, and more than 100 grams of marijuana. No injuries were reported.
