Car Crash Augusta Virginia in Augusta, Virginia: A 29-year-old Craigsville man died after a two-vehicle crash in Augusta County on Wednesday evening just after 4:45 p.m. According to Virginia State Police, a Dodge Ram 2500 traveling west on Parkersburg Turnpike crossed the center line and struck an eastbound U.S. Postal Service box truck in an offset head-on collision near Buffalo Gap. The Dodge Ram driver, Sean Arnott, was extricated and pronounced dead at Augusta Health. The 79-year-old USPS box truck driver from Waynesboro was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
