Car Crash North Courtland Alabama in North Courtland, Alabama: Courtland Police Chief Spencer Butler was involved in a two-vehicle crash just before 7 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Alabama 20 and County Road 150 in North Courtland. His patrol truck overturned at the scene. Butler was airlifted to Huntsville Hospital, where he is being treated for a laceration to his head and a severely injured shoulder. ALEA, the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office, and Courtland Police responded to the scene.
