Car Crash Colonie New York in Colonie, New York: A 39-year-old Cohoes man was arrested for second-degree assault after police say he crossed into oncoming traffic in a black 2005 Cadillac SUV and struck a green 2021 Tao motorcycle near Columbia Street Extension and Bridget Circle in Colonie at about 3:45 p.m. Wednesday. Two motorcycle occupants — a 55-year-old Cohoes man and a 20-year-old Schenectady woman — were transported to Albany Medical Center with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The driver, William J. Mackey, was also taken to Albany Medical Center for a medical complaint and remained in police custody pending arraignment.
