Assault Coldwater Michigan in Coldwater, Michigan: A 21-year-old Clemens Food Group employee, Brandon Eduardo Velasquez Chavez, was fatally stabbed by a co-worker at the company's Coldwater, Michigan pork plant on Tuesday night. Police responded to the reported stabbing at 7:41 p.m. and Chavez was pronounced dead at the scene. Witnesses told police the two men had a verbal argument while working near each other, and the co-worker, identified as 20-year-old Valmir Djempsley, allegedly stabbed Chavez in the back. Djempsley was arrested and charged with open murder and pleaded not guilty.
