Assault Bridgeport Connecticut in Bridgeport, Connecticut: Jahmar Whittingham was arraigned on murder and assault charges after a triple stabbing at a multifamily home on Laurel Avenue in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Police say Whittingham admitted to stabbing three people, fatally wounding 60-year-old Eric Johnson and injuring a 62-year-old man and an 86-year-old woman, both of whom remained hospitalized. A resident called police at around 5:05 a.m., and Johnson was pronounced dead at Bridgeport Hospital shortly after 6 a.m.
