Car Crash Bracken Kentucky in Bracken, Kentucky: A head-on crash on the AA Highway in Bracken County, Kentucky on June 27 killed Tyler Smith and his passenger Emily Smith, both of whom died at the scene. Brandon Barrett, 40, crossed the double yellow line and collided head-on with their Kia, according to Kentucky State Police. Barrett was treated at UK Medical Center for his injuries and was later arrested and charged with two counts of reckless homicide and one count of wanton endangerment.
