Car Crash Bracken Kentucky in Bracken, Kentucky: A 40-year-old man, Brandon Barrett, was arrested on July 1 in connection with a fatal head-on crash in Bracken County, Kentucky. Police say Barrett allegedly tried to pass a double yellow line and crashed head-on into a Kia on June 27 on Kentucky 9 (AA Highway) at Dutch Ridge Road. The crash killed Tyler and Emily Smith, who were in the Kia. Barrett was arrested after receiving treatment at UK Hospital in Lexington.
