Workplace Accident Town Creek Alabama in Town Creek, Alabama: Jehu Hester, 71, of Russellville, was pronounced dead at around 10:51 a.m. at a poultry farm on County Road 136 in Town Creek, Alabama. Lawrence County Coroner Scott Norwood said Hester was killed in an apparent accident that led to traumatic injuries and was found dead at the scene. Hester worked as a chicken litter broker, buying chicken litter from poultry operations to sell to other farmers for use as fertilizer.
