Car Crash Riverhead New York in Riverhead, New York: A pedestrian was seriously hurt after being struck by a 2021 Ford Ranger while trying to cross County Road 58 in Riverhead, Suffolk County, late Wednesday night around 10 p.m. The unidentified male victim was found lying in the roadway near the BJ's Gas Station with a head wound and was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries. The 70-year-old driver stayed at the scene and no charges had been filed at that time. The Riverhead Police Department is investigating.
