Shooting Washington District Of Columbia in Washington, District of Columbia: Two suspects allegedly exchanged gunfire at about 12:22 a.m. on April 19 in the 200 block of V Street, Northwest, in Washington, D.C. Responding officers found two vehicles damaged by gunfire and evidence of the shooting, but no victims were located. Following an investigation, detectives obtained a DC Superior Court arrest warrant for 23-year-old Dakarai Walker of Northwest DC. Walker was arrested on June 24 and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon (gun) and two counts of misdemeanor destruction of property. The investigation remains ongoing.
