Shooting Wilmington Delaware in Wilmington, Delaware: Wilmington police officers patrolling near 24th and Jessup streets at about 11:12 p.m. saw 19-year-old Kadir Skinner exit a residence allegedly armed with a handgun and point it toward the crowd. Officers approached Skinner, who allegedly fled on foot, and he was shot. Skinner was transported to a hospital, where he later died from a single gunshot wound to his upper left buttocks area. A firearm was recovered from the scene. The shooting remains under investigation by Wilmington police, the Delaware Department of Justice, and its Division of Civil Rights and Public Trust.
