Vehicle Fire Tulsa Oklahoma in Tulsa, Oklahoma: A 12-year-old boy lost a hand and suffered severe eye injuries after a mortar-style firework exploded Wednesday night in Tulsa, Oklahoma, according to police. An 11-year-old also suffered lacerations across his upper body. The 12-year-old was taken to a Tulsa hospital before being flown to an Oklahoma City hospital for additional treatment. Police said other children reported the 12-year-old was holding the small, grenade-like mortar firework while the 11-year-old attempted to light it when it exploded.
