11-year-old boy drowns in Bayou Macon in Delhi, Louisiana

Drowning Delhi Louisiana in Delhi, Louisiana: An 11-year-old boy died after drowning in Bayou Macon in Delhi, Louisiana. Richland Parish Sheriff Neal Harwell said the child was swimming with three friends when he went under around 4 p.m. Wednesday and did not resurface. The sheriff urged adult supervision and use of life vests when swimming in natural bodies of water.
