Woman charged after shooting another woman in Miami Gardens

Shooting Miami Gardens Florida in Miami Gardens, Florida: Milagros De La Caridad Navarro, 35, of Miami Gardens, surrendered to Miami Gardens Police on Tuesday and faces multiple felony charges in connection with a Feb. 22 shooting of another woman. Police were called to the scene and about 30 minutes later learned a gunshot victim had arrived at HCA Florida Aventura Hospital. The victim, who had been visiting from Georgia, was struck by gunfire and later interviewed after her breathing tube was removed; a witness identified Navarro in a lineup and surveillance video showed Navarro firing multiple shots toward the victim. A motive remains unclear.
