Car Crash Iowa Today in Iowa: The Iowa State Patrol investigated a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 35 southbound at the 147 marker near Williams at approximately 10 p.m. on Tuesday. A southbound 2015 Toyota Rav4 SUV driven by a motorist from Ames was struck in the rear driver's side by a southbound Chevrolet Trax driven by a motorist from Richfield, Minnesota. The Chevrolet Trax crossed the onramp to I-35, entered the west ditch, and rolled multiple times before coming to rest on its top in a farm field. The driver of the Trax was transported to Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines for treatment. The names of the two drivers were not released.
