Vehicle Fire Cambridge Maryland in Cambridge, Maryland: A house fire in Cambridge, Maryland displaced three people and eight pet dogs on June 30. The Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal ruled the fire accidental, stating it started around 11:50 p.m. on Central Avenue during a cooking accident. It took 45 firefighters just under an hour to control the flames. One person suffered a minor burn injury and was treated by EMS on scene but refused transport to the hospital. The American Red Cross is assisting the displaced residents and their dogs.
