Car Crash Kwigillingok Alaska in Kwigillingok, Alaska: Alaska State Troopers said human remains recovered near the Western Alaska village of Kwigillingok were identified as 45-year-old Chester Kashatok, one of two residents missing after ex-Typhoon Halong struck in October. Troopers said adult male remains were found June 16 near Kwigillingok and sent to the State Medical Examiner's Office. A second resident, 71-year-old Vernon Pavil, remains missing. The powerful storm system brought strong winds and heavy flooding to Kipnuk and Kwigillingok, and at least 51 people and two dogs were rescued from the two communities.
