Pregnant woman mauled by two dogs in Tacoma, labor induced…
Assault Tacoma Washington in Tacoma, Washington: A pregnant woman was attacked by two loose dogs in the 4000 block of Puget Sound Avenue in Tacoma at about 11:05 a.m. last Thursday. Renee Wilson suffered severe injuries while trying to protect her chihuahua and was taken to a local hospital before being transferred to Tacoma General Hospital, where doctors induced labor. Her son, Armani, was born unharmed, but Wilson remains hospitalized recovering from injuries and an infection. Police said the dogs, an American pit bull terrier and an American bully, escaped through a broken fence board their owners knew about, and animal control declared both dogs dangerous; the owners face misdemeanor charges for unlicensed dogs and allowing them to run at large.
