Car Crash Multnomah Oregon in Multnomah, Oregon: According to an affidavit filed June 26 in Multnomah County Circuit Court, Devin Christopher Lavoie, 28, was arrested after a dark blue Jeep Cherokee was reported traveling westbound in the eastbound emergency lane of Interstate 84 at about 90 mph. Witnesses told police the driver was smiling and waving at oncoming motorists. A deputy later deployed spike strips, causing the Jeep to crash; Lavoie was found standing outside the vehicle with his hands up. He is accused of three counts of recklessly endangering another person and one count of reckless driving.
