Bicycle Crash Kokomo Indiana in Kokomo, Indiana: On June 26, 2026, at approximately 5:30 a.m., a 2014 Chrysler Pacifica driven by Tracy Turner, 51, of Kokomo, struck Brisjonta Richmond, 21, of Kokomo, who was riding an electric scooter on Sycamore Street near Ind. in Kokomo. Richmond was wearing dark, non-reflective clothing and the scooter was not street-legal and lacked proper lighting. Life-saving measures were performed and Richmond was airlifted to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he later died. Turner was not injured. Indiana State Police are investigating; alcohol and drugs are not believed to be factors, though toxicology results are pending.
