Pedestrian Hit Pittsburgh Pennsylvania in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania: A man was struck and killed while walking on Bennett Street near Oakwood Street in Pittsburgh late on Thursday, June 25. Pittsburgh Public Safety said first responders were called around 11:30 p.m. and found the man lying in the roadway, apparently struck by the driver of an SUV traveling westbound on Bennett. After the collision, the SUV driver got out to check on the man, and a second driver of a gray Toyota Prius then struck the man and did not stop. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene and had not been identified at the time of reporting. The Collision Investigation Unit and the city's Fatal Crash Response Team were investigating.
