Passenger van crash on U.S. 95 near Elmira injures 12 people

Car Crash Elmira Idaho in Elmira, Idaho: A passenger van carrying a youth summer program traveling to a field trip near Kootenai Falls was involved in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. 95 near Elmira at about 2:30 p.m. on July 1, 2026. Twelve people from the van were taken to Bonner General Health hospital, and the driver of the second vehicle was also hospitalized. Idaho State Police responded to the scene.
