Car Crash Robeson North Carolina in Robeson, North Carolina: A 2013 Kia traveling on Lizzie Road near Iona Church Road west of Fairmont in Robeson County, North Carolina, went off the right side of the road, struck a ditch, and overturned several times before landing on its roof in a field around 11 p.m. on May 16. Passenger Ta'Nyah Pittman was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was taken to a hospital for injuries and later released. The North Carolina State Highway Patrol notified the Alcohol Law Enforcement Division after determining alcohol was a contributing factor, and four people were charged with offenses including giving liquor to underage persons and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.
