Shooting Chicago Illinois in Chicago, Illinois: A 30-year-old man was killed and another man was wounded in a shooting around 3:20 a.m. Wednesday outside the Royal Sonesta River North hotel in the 500 block of North State Street in Chicago, police said. Dozens of shots were fired, shattering lobby windows of the hotel, though no hotel employees or guests were injured. Police spokesperson Patrick Reilly said the attack was gang-related.
