Dui Crash Portland Oregon in Portland, Oregon: A person died and another was hospitalized after an Infiniti G35 crashed into a light pole in the Cully neighborhood of Northeast Portland early Tuesday morning. Police said the vehicle was traveling west on NE Lombard Street when it failed to negotiate the turn onto NE Killingsworth Street, lost control, and struck a light pole. The passenger was pronounced dead at the scene while the driver was taken to the hospital. Portland Police Bureau's Major Crash Team said excessive speed and alcohol were factors and criminal charges against the driver were pending.
