Dui Crash Wisconsin Today in Wisconsin: A fatal single-vehicle crash occurred on eastbound I-94 near Eau Claire, Wisconsin at 10:31 p.m. on Monday. A pickup truck drifted off the road, vaulted, and came to rest in the median. The driver, Muehlberg, showed signs of impairment, was injured, and was transported to Mayo Hospital in Eau Claire with non-life-threatening injuries; he was arrested on suspicion of OWI. A back seat passenger, 27-year-old Anna Melicher of Eveleth, Minnesota, was fatally injured, while a second passenger, 29-year-old Chase Schaffer of Saint Michael, Minnesota, was not injured. The Wisconsin State Patrol is investigating the crash with assistance from Township Fire Department, Eau Claire Fire Department, and the Eau Claire County Medical Examiner's Office.
