Car Crash Monroe Connecticut in Monroe, Connecticut: A 56-year-old North Carolina man was taken to St. Vincent's Medical Center with back pain following a one-vehicle rollover crash into a utility pole off Main Street in Monroe, Connecticut on June 26. Police said he was heading north on Route 25 around 9:32 a.m. when his red 2012 Nissan Rogue drifted to the right, struck the pole, bounced back into the roadway and rolled onto its left side, coming to rest in the middle of the road. The driver was standing outside the vehicle when police arrived and was evaluated by Monroe Volunteer Emergency Medical personnel at the scene.
