Car Crash Carroll County Virginia in Carroll County, Virginia: A crash on I-77 in Carroll County, Virginia around 4:30 a.m. on June 28 killed one person and seriously injured two others. A southbound truck struck a deer and became disabled in the left travel lane, with its occupants standing in the median. Another vehicle driven by Lee Gaddies of Charlotte, North Carolina, lost control approaching the disabled truck, went off the left side of the road, and struck the two people in the median. Gaddies was charged with reckless driving and the crash remains under investigation.
