Shooting South San Francisco California in South San Francisco, California: A 29-year-old Napa man, Jose Basultollamas, was charged with negligent discharge of a firearm and being a felon in possession of a firearm after allegedly firing 12 shots from a handgun at the Park Pointe Hotel in South San Francisco. The San Mateo County District Attorney's Office said he had been drinking and smoking marijuana before the incident. He was detained after walking out of the ground floor of the hotel and fleeing from police, and a loaded gun was recovered from the hotel courtyard. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
