Car Crash Albuquerque New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico: Albuquerque Fire Rescue (AFR) responded to a multi-vehicle collision and vehicle fire on I-25 near Avenida Cesar Chavez on June 30 around 5:30 p.m. A small Jeep was heavily involved in flames, and four vehicles total were part of the incident. One person was transported to the hospital with critical injuries, three others were transported with minor injuries, and two were treated on scene but declined transport. NMDOT assisted with cleanup and I-25 was reopened; the fire was brought under control within 15 minutes.
