Sports in Jackson, Missouri: A concrete truck traveling south on South Lefholz Road in Jackson County traveled across the northbound lane, left the roadway, struck a utility pole, and overturned onto its side. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers responded around 10:40 a.m. Wednesday and cleared the scene a few hours later.
