Car Crash Michigan Today in Frenchtown Township, Michigan: A 66-year-old man riding a motorcycle was killed after being struck by a minivan at the intersection of North Telegraph Road and Newport Road in Frenchtown Township, Monroe County, Michigan, on Tuesday just after 11 a.m. A 34-year-old Newport woman driving the minivan east on Newport Road pulled into the intersection and hit the motorcyclist, who was turning onto North Telegraph Road, according to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office. The minivan then crashed through a fence and stopped in the parking lot of the DTE Energy Newport Service Center. The minivan driver and juvenile passenger were released at the scene and later sought medical treatment on their own. The crash remains under investigation.
