Car Crash Lehigh Pennsylvania in Lehigh, Pennsylvania: A 39-year-old motorcyclist died after he crashed into a parked tractor-trailer on the Pennsylvania Turnpike Northeast Extension in Lehigh County. Kory Stokes, of Foster Township, Luzerne County, was riding northbound near mile marker 63 in North Whitehall Township when another tractor-trailer moved from the right lane to the left lane and Stokes, who was behind that vehicle, also tried to move into the left lane. He lost control of his motorcycle and struck the parked tractor-trailer's left rear wheel, then skidded across both lanes and hit the barrier. Stokes was taken by ambulance to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, where he was pronounced dead about an hour later. Police determined charges could not be filed in the crash.
