Assault Mission Kansas in Mission, Kansas: On June 6, officers from seven agencies responded to a reported armed disturbance at The Falls Apartments, 6565 Foxridge Drive, in Mission, Kansas. Two women suffered slash injuries at the pool area, including a severe laceration to the upper left arm, and were treated by Johnson County Med-Act paramedics. According to an affidavit, Neil Edward Locke, who had been out on bond for a prior felony charge, allegedly made advances toward an underage girl, then punched one woman and used a sharp weapon to slash another after a confrontation. Locke had left the pool area before officers arrived and was last seen running toward the apartments.
